Glen Navis had a clear vision: It was himself - racing to first base.

Catching that fly ball.

He had clear vision because of cataract surgery performed at the Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center. "I just never expected the surgery to have this kind of impact on my life," Glen said. It was an instant change as he adjusted to his new eyesight post laser cataract surgery, during which he received new TORIC lenses to improve his distance vision.

His vision clear - colors bright again - caused his excitement to be the best softball player he could be.

His renewed attitude and joy in life transferred to other areas of his health: boosting his morale as he lost 31 pounds with a new diet.

"Having my vision back, just really opened my eyes to the life I could be living," he said. "I am ready for the next season. Will I be perfect? No - but I will be the best that I can be.

"Now, I can see when a ball is coming at me, rather than last minute. I can see a lot of fun and enjoyment of life ahead of me."
