A member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals, Stephanie has years of experience in the cosmetic industry and is extremely talented. She takes a conservative approach to permanent makeup, as she believes that permanent makeup should subtly enhance your natural beauty, not overshadow it.
Permanent makeup is typically used to accent the eyes and face; upper and lower eyeliner, and eyebrow coloring are available as permanent makeup. During the procedure, you will likely experience some slight discomfort, typical of that associated with tattoos. Though treatment time varies, typically the process takes no more than an hour or two, given the localized nature of permanent makeup. The results of the procedure are immediate, but as with traditional tattoos, the true color will likely not be evident until the treatment area has fully healed. Do not be alarmed if you feel the outcome appears harsh or conspicuous, as the colors will fade in the week following treatment. As with cosmetic tattoos, the color may fade in the years and decades following your procedure due to sun exposure and a breakdown of pigmentation. If this occurs, follow-up treatment can revive the color.
