Professional Microdermabrasion Process

Using an advanced form of exfoliation, microdermabrasion reveals a new, healthier layer of skin that heals and replaces the old dead skin and its flaws. The procedure, which lasts around 30 minutes to an hour, involves the use of a machine that blows a continuous thread of tiny crystals to break up the stratum corneum - the topmost layer of dead skin where fine wrinkles and some other imperfections occur. A vacuum simultaneously suctions up the tiny crystal particles along with the dead skin, revealing the layer underneath.

The body then works to replace the missing layer of skin with a newer, healthier one that feels smoother and looks clearer. Microdermabrasion can be combined with a light chemical peel to increase the effect.
