Entropion and Ectropion
When Your Eyelid Needs Repair
It is not uncommon for the aging process and other factors to cause in patients one of two conditions whereby our lower eyelids do one of two things:
1. Turn inward and cause our eyelashes to rub against our cornea, or
2. Roll out away from the eye, exposing more of the cornea.
Both conditions, called Entropion and Ectropion, can cause redness and discomfort.
Fortunately, Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center's Founder & Medical Director Emilio M. Justo, M.D., can repair the Entropion and the Ectropion during an outpatient procedure right here in his Sun City West office.
