Christmas Cards for Troops!
WE HAVE BLANK CHRISTMAS CARDS YOU CAN FILL OUT FOR OUR TROOPS OVERSEAS!
Thanks to our GENEROUS community, we have hundreds of brand new and blank Christmas cards of all designs and sizes in our lobbies that we encourage you to use to write a message to the troops overseas. Just select a card you enjoy, and write a message that only the soldier overseas who receives it will read as they protect and serve us far away from their families during the upcoming holiday season.
(We are sanitizing our pens between uses).
You of course can also still donate cards of your own with messages written inside! Last year, we joined local Valley Classic Rock Station KSLX (100.7 FM) in their annual "10,000 For The Troops," a campaign in which they collect Christmas cards for brave Americans serving overseas in the Armed Forces. The goal is to collect thousands of cards with messages to our soldiers serving overseas, and we are also collecting cards donated with messages written inside.
We were thrilled with the hundreds of Christmas cards we received last year (see photo above!) with special messages for our troops, showing just how much gratitude our community has for those who will be spending the holiday season heroically protecting our safety and freedoms.
We are collecting personalized cards again this year, NOW until Friday, Nov. 27 (the day after Thanksgiving), so that we can get them to the station in time to be mailed overseas far and wide. You can bring your own cards in, or sign one of the blank ones donated and available in our offices.
Cards need no postage or stamps - the radio station will be sending them in bulk. You can donate or write in as many cards as you like. Please drop your cards off in the lobbies of any of our locations during business hours by 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27:
19052 N. RH Johnson Blvd., Sun City West
10701 West Bell Road, Sun City
500 West Savage Street (call in advance for hours or take with you during a scheduled exam)
Let's join together to end the year 2020 on a positive and grateful note as we share our thankful spirit with American heroes. On to a wonderful holiday season!
