Welcome Dr. Zambrano

Please join us in welcoming our newest Optometrist, Dr. Manuel Zambrano. We are proud to have Dr. Zambrano join our Founder & Medical Director Emilio M. Justo, M.D., and our Director of Optometry, Eugene Shifrin, O.D., to aid in the vision care of our community as we celebrate our 30th anniversary.

Dr. Zambrano brings 20 years of medical optometry experience to the practice, with expertise in managing glaucoma and macular degeneration, diagnosing cataracts, co-managing post-operative cataract surgery patients, diagnosing diabetic retinopathy and treating dry eye syndrome. He has served patients needing routine vision exams and eyewear, as well as patients experiencing traumatic eye injuries and even complex neuro-optometry cases, and is ready to take on any care needed by patients. 

"I am proud to invite a 20-year veteran of the Navy, who has founded the Traumatic Brain Injury/Vision Center of Excellence for the Wounded Warrior Program to our practice," said Dr. Justo. "He has the worldly skills, education and passion to provide any treatment our community needs, and to help us continue to grow and allow our patients and their vision to thrive. Dr. Zambrano will be a big boost to our community's quality of life."

During his service in the Navy, Dr. Zambrano has worked as an optometrist throughout the world, working in mid- to large-scale hospitals, in submarines, and serving thousands while stationed at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Zambrano will work together with Dr. Justo and Dr. Shifrin to provide top quality care for all patients. His greatest passion is ensuring each individual gets the unique care that they require based on their personal needs.
