Honoring Sept. 11

Please join me for a moment of silence in honor of the lives we lost on this day 17 years ago, precious lives that we will forever remember. To the heroes who ran into buildings on the verge of collapse; the heroes in planes who fought terrorists to save lives while giving their own; to the families who miss their loved ones every day. We think of you on this day.  September 11, 2001, forever changed us. We owe praise and gratitude to those whom we can safely say strengthened us as people and as a nation. We thank all of the heroes who joined the fight against terrorism, seeking to save lives, many suffering injuries or losing their own lives. Our nation is strong, and on this day we pay tribute to those who made us the great nation we are today.

This moment of silence is for all of those impacted by that fateful day.
