Happy Father's Day!

There are many things that make me proud in my life.

I am most proud of one singular title: Father.

I am father to three incredible children who alongside my beautiful wife bring joy to my life every single day.

It is a joy to watch them grow.To encourage them to test their strengths and embrace their ambitions.

To challenge them. My greatest joy in life is to celebrate their every success, from performing at Carnegie Hall to learning a new skill as simple as learning to walk and say 'thank you' as they grow into gracious adults.

My children are my priority, and it makes me proud to know that when they visit the practice they greet you all with courtesy.

Being your surgeon and physician is literally my life's dream. It took a lot of hard work against the odds.

Being a son to my own father, who gave so much when he and my mother fled from communist Cuba to the United States - opportunities I embraced by working hard to succeed - is a blessing.

Being a father myself, with all of the work, sweat and tears - is true dream come true.
