Arizona Eye Institute Welcomes Dr. Misty Cox

We are proud at the Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center to introduce Dr. Misty Cox as our newest medical Optometrist serving the community.  Dr. Cox joins us in August, bringing experience in both preventative care and treatment of systemic vision conditions.

Dr. Cox brings a new, fresh compassionate dedication to serving West Valley residents of all ages. We are thrilled to have her energy and excitement about maintaining and treating the health of our community's precious eyesight.

Dr. Cox earned her Doctorate in Optometry from the Arizona College of Optometry at Midwestern University, and achieved her residency experience in geriatric eye care and low vision rehabilitation. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association and Arizona Optometric Association. Her honors include membership in Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and the Arizona College of Optometry Dean's Award.

As she joins our practice, I wanted to share some of her own words about why she is passionate about health care:

"The joy I receive from getting to know each of my patients is truly rewarding. I think it is imperative to properly educate each patient about his or her condition so we can work together to establish a treatment plan that works best for each individual."

Dr. Cox will see patients at our three Valley-wide locations.
