Radiesse®

Radiesse® is an injectable calcium hydroxylapatite dermal filler, which is the same mineral component found in our bones and teeth. No allergy or skin test is needed prior to your treatment. About Radiesse®
Radiesse® is a dermal filler that replaces facial volume to smooth out signs of aging. Radiesse® is composed of calcium-based microspheres which are very similar to naturally occurring minerals in your body. The microspheres are suspended in a water-based gel. They provide volume and lift in areas of the face that have been depleted of collagen or lost flexibility because of aging. Radiesse® also stimulates the production of natural collagen, which makes the results even more long-lasting.
Radiesse® is administered through a series of injections to the target areas of the face. Because of its unique properties, Radiesse® is ideal for treating wrinkles and lines around the nose and mouth, including the nasolabial folds. Radiesse® may be mixed with lidocaine for an anesthetizing effect. The filler plumps up skin, smoothing wrinkles, lines, and furrows, as the microspheres begin to stimulate the production of collagen.
